After getting lost in the forest, caught in there for a little over week, I suddenly feel very grateful for hot water and a nice bed.

I'm not really sure why commoners find camping fun. Definitely don't know how people sleep on the cold, hard ground in the middle of the forest. Isn't it hard to, knowing that something could slither or crawl in your stuff while you sleep? Bluh! It gives me the shivers just thinking about it.

Thankfully we're in Pewter now. Is the gym here still strictly rock types or is that different too?

I don't know, it can certainly be something of an adventure... Though admittedly, it makes it hard to keep things washed up at times.

I just bought new clothes instead. The others were so trashed and dirty that they were beyond saving.

In any case, travel here is much simpler once you have a pokemon capable of using the Fly move, so if you dislike camping out so much, perhaps you should see about getting it?

Size apparently doesn't matter much in terms of how much they can carry, though you probably would need a second one to transport two people.

At least he's fluffy. I can only imagine how soft he'll be as an Altaria.

All I need is the HM, really. My Pidgeot, Fitch, could learn it. Armani can too, once he is a Dragonite. But that's pretty far off.

Altaria are quite soft, yes. And you can win the HM from one of the gyms in each region, if you can't find anyone to borrow it from.
