How far away from Viridian are you?

Come to think of it, I think wild onix are the only ones in this area that would be rideable...

I'm staying in Viridian another week before moving on.

Haven't seen any Onix.

I'm not sure what pokemon are in that area! But I meant I could probably catch you a wild one here and send it over, if you liked? Since the only other option is getting an egg that will hatch into a mount, but...well, time constraints.

It's no problem! If you want one, just say so, and I'll go grab one today and wire it to your pc. That way you'll have a mount that you don't have to wait for hatching-wise. If you don't mind waiting, we could look into getting you an egg of some kind!

Miki-chan just hatched the other day, but he's still too small and too young to ride, I think. He's just a tiny Ponyta.

A ponyta?? That's a great mount, at least! I'm not sure how long it would take for him to get big enough to ride, either - I've never raised one, personally.

Probably a month or two... By then he might be a Rapidash which will definitely be big enough.

I might have to put on my best face and ask for an Onix. Maybe the adoption center might have a good one too.

[ It should be anywhere from level 12 to 20, although she could easily take down a 20. ...Hahaha overleveling... ] Onix definitely make travel a lot easier. Among other things, they can carry more than one person. Or pokemon!

Yeah, that's what I like about it! And you never know, the next time more people show up, you could find a travel partner you like. I feel like we're due for another cycle of people coming here.

About twice a month, usually towards the tail end of the week. I've no idea why, but that's how it usually goes, just based off of when people start posting to the network!

That's my general way of thinking! There's a lot to do here to keep busy, and plenty of people to meet.

Right now I have my Mincinno, a Pidgey, Purrloin, Petilil, and then of course Ponyta.

Oh, Pikachu are super cute!! They're native to Kanto, too, I think? I got mine as eggs, because of that.

I'll just have to wait and see, won't I? Since some of mine just hatched, I want to make sure they're all right and ready to move on.

That's really reasonable - travelling with a lot of eggs or babies can be a bit much if you're not in a group or don't have a bunch of pokemon who like helping with that sort of thing.
